Pulaski Heights Baptist Dayschool is a full time program for infants and children 6 weeks to 4 years old.   We are licensed by the Arkansas State Department of Human Services and have been inspected and approved by:
            1.       Pulaski County Health Department; and

            2.       Little Rock Fire Department

Pulaski Heights Baptist Dayschool was founded in the fall of 1968, as a ministry to its own members and others in the community who needed a warm, safe, Christian environment for their babies and children.

Our continuing ministry in this area is to provide:

1.   A nurturing environment for children

2.  A half day structured learning program

3.  A full day of supervised care which includes a meal, rest, snacks, play and stimulation of the child�s curiosity

4.  A program which will allow children to develop and mature spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially

Class Structure

Our nursery is made up of four nursery rooms and two toddler rooms.  The ratio for these rooms is one teacher to six children.   We have a teacher in each room and a floater for the nursery.

There are five older classes in the Dayschool ranging in age from 20 months to four years.  These classes have a structured learning time every morning.  Each class has a teacher and two floaters that assist the teachers.  They have lunch, a nap, and afternoon playtime.  Lunch is provided every day along with a morning and afternoon snack.

 Activities

We have Music and Chapel weekly for the older children.  We also offer Gymnastics and Computer weekly.  We have weekly units of study, which include a Bible story and a Bible verse.

We will enjoy many special times together!  A Fall Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch, Halloween parties, Christmas parties, Christmas Open House, City Trolley Ride, Leprechaun Hunt, Easter Egg Hunt, Spring Program, End of the year Zoo Field Trip and Picnic just to name a few.

Our summer program, �Fun in the Sun�, includes Sprinkler Day, Ice Cream Day, and Trike Day.  These are just a few of the activities that make summertime special.
